Stringfellow is a fictional character, a mutant in the Marvel Comics Universe. His first appearance was in X-Treme X-Men #35.
Stringfellow is a mutant with the ability to cause others' bodies to become super elastic. Serving as Sunspot’s personal bodyguard, Stringfellow used his abilities on the X-Man Rogue when she crashed an X-Corporation party. Following the events of M-Day where Scarlet Witch removed the mutant genome from over 90% of the world's mutant population, it is unknown whether Stringfellow retained his superhuman powers.
He mentally causes organic beings to lose all rigidity in their physical structure, making them collapse like loose, pliant bands of flesh .
